Vesna graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana and subsequently passed the state legal exam. She has long years of experience in commercial sector and extensive knowledge from intellectual property field specializing in areas of designs, trade marks and judicial protection. She is actively involved in creation of case law from this area in Slovenia. She participated in preparation of all amendments of the Industrial Property Act, as she was employed with the SIPO from 1992 to 2000. She joined Patentna pisarna, d.o.o. in 2000. In 2007, she passed professional examination with the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office and became a registered Slovenian Trade Mark Attorney and a European Trade Mark and Design Attorney.
