Who are We:

The beginnings of our agency date back to 1921, however, it was constituted as Patentna pisarna in 1953. It is committed to work on the key areas of industrial property, protection of patents, designs and trade marks.

Our professional team consists of highly specialised technical and legal personnel and experienced administrative staff. It is not only active in industrial property matters in Slovenia but also globally. Apart from domestic clients we have earned trust of numerous foreign clients; our clientele ranges from individual applicants through small-size and middle-size companies to famous multinational companies.

Patentna pisarna employs some 30 persons, a majority of whom are partners. Technical areas are covered by full-time bachelors of science, of these three mechanical engineers, two engineers of chemical technology and a Ph.D. in physics also covering the fields of electronics and computer science. Legal services are provided by lawyers with long-term practice and experience in the field of industrial property both in Slovenia and abroad. Formal matters fall within the team of specialists in German/Roman studies and translators with university degrees.

Our patent engineers and lawyers have permanent contact with the situation in the field of science, also permanently updating their expertise at Slovene and foreign seminars. We are active members of prestigious national and international associations (AIPPI, epi, INTA, ECTA) and participate in the challenges in the area of industrial and intellectual property.
