After graduating from his studies of energetics and process mechanical engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1995, Andrej worked in industry for almost 10 years. He entered the patent profession by joining Patentna pisarna d.o.o. In 2011, he passed professional examination for a Slovenian Patent Attorney and was registered in the same year as a European Trade Mark and Design Attorney.
He advises clients in relation to strategies of industrial property protection. He draws up new patent and design applications and represents clients before SIPO, EUIPO and WIPO. If addressed by clients, he provides expert opinions on infringement of rights of patents or designs. He regularly participates in seminars and workshops from the field of industrial property organized by SIPO, WIPO, EPO, Management Forum and other providers.
